They’ve been carried up red carpets across the world, snapped by the paparazzi and held by celebrities. Now the handbags of the rich and famous could be owned by you when they are auctioned for charity next week. Handbag Heaven, being held in Glasgow on Friday, will raise thousands for Women’s Fund Scotland, which supports projects across the country. Scarlett Johansson, Claudia Schiffer and Beyonce are among the big names to donate bags for the event. Development director Imogen Assenti, who is organising the event, said the money would be used to help people affected by problems from domestic violence and disability to single parents re-entering the workforce. Singer Beyonce has a sexy style which matches the energy of her music. The beautiful black leather slouchy shoulder bag that Beyonce auctiones, is one of her own designs from the range she produces with her mother, Tina Knowles.
