Skinny Beyonce felt unsexy

Beyonce Knowles has complained that she felt unsexy when she lost weight for her Dreamgirls role.
The 25-year-old dropped 20lbs for her role as Deena in the movie musical, but she insists that prefers her naturally voluptuous figure.
Beyonce said “I would look in the mirror and not feel like a woman. I didn’t feel sexy. I’m a black woman and in our society hips and thighs are considered beautiful. I’d go to radio stations and guys were like, ‘Where’s Beyonce?’.
“People in the fashion industry were like, ‘Oh my god, you look beautiful’. But to me it’s important to feel like me in my own skin and I didn’t feel like myself when I was thinner. Plus, it’s heaps more fun to be able to eat pizza again!”

I think its great that Beyonce likes her body the way it is. That’s great. Everyone wants to feel comfortable in their own skin. But what is the message you are sending to those girls who are naturally skinny who don’t have the hips and thighs you have. She said she didn’t feel like a woman nor did she feel sexy.Well does that mean that she thinks girls who don’t have all that meat on their bones are not real women nor sexy? Something to think about. As long as you are healthy and taking care of yourself it doesn’t matter how much booty you have you are beautiful.
I really look up to Beyonce. She is my role modle cuz everyyone says I’m pritty and I have nice hair, but i have Beyonces body. I think thats great I love her but my sister is skinny and my bff was fat then lost weight and now shes almost skinner then me! I hate it and i want to know if I really am fat, or the other girls and just too skinny.

iunderstand what it feels like im a girl big hips and thigh n i alays felt sexy no matter what i wear until a few months ago i lst some weight, it made me feel really unsexy and unattractive but some people think otherwise its all about how you feel in your own skin.

Beyonce was not saying that she didnt think thin women were sexy. She was saying that in her opinion a more natural figure on a woman is more attractive. She said she didnt like being unaturally thin. Too bad there’s not more people like beyonce in the fashion industry. Girls need to learn to feel good about their bodies the way they are. Beyonce is a role model for young girls everywhere.

Beyonc? you are an amazing woman and an inspiration to young girls everywhere. You teach them to be themselves and un love the skin there in. Allot of celebs are obsessed with being skinny and that is putting pressure on people to look like them. I hav a curvy figure and i am happy with it. I love the feeling of looking at pictures of skinny celebratys and thinking,’Haha i can eat pizza!’
