Beyonce wants to be a mom – but not just yet. Asked in the June issue of France’s Questions de femmes magazine if she wants kids, she says: ‘Yes, in 10 years! For the moment, there are still so many things I need to accomplish.’ The singer, 25, and boyfriend Jay-Z have long shot down wedding rumors, and in January Beyonce told InStyle: ‘You can’t rush a man into anything – whether it’s a relationship, marriage or having children. When he’s ready, he’ll let you know.’

But the couple are still going strong: They were spotted on May 22 at the Naomi Campbell’s de Grisogono-sponsored birthday party at the exclusive Hotel du Cap near Cannes. Questions de femmes also asks what she likes to do when she isn’t working. ‘I used to do some painting but I don’t have time anymore – I have to start again,’ she says. ‘I like to watch the Discovery Channel and from time to time DVDs. It depends on how I feel.’

She also insists that, although she always looks immaculate when she goes out, she’s really low-maintenance. ‘I actually don’t like wearing make-up, I’d rather be natural,’ she says. ‘My hair is natural and when I go out I don’t need to spend hours deciding what I will wear or which make-up to put on. I know exactly what I want.’

Giorgio Armani announced on Thursday that Beyonce Knowles will be the face and the voice of his next women’s fragrance, called Emporio Armani Diamonds, due out in the fall. The singer will appear in both print and TV advertising and will sing her own rendition of a classic American song. Armani’s beauty licensee, L’Oreal, is apparently betting heavily on this launch, especially as a vehicle to refocus the Emporio fragrance business in the U.S.

MTV has announced the nominees for the 2007 MTV Movie Awards, and leading the pack is the comic book adaptation 300, which got a total of five nominations, followed by the Johnny Depp driven action adventure, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. But when it gets down to it - it may be the diva battle that draws the most interest.
Dreamgirls divas Jennifer Hudson and Beyonce Knowles will battle it out in the Best Performance category at this year’s MTV Movie Awards, along with Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest costars Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley. Host Sarah Silverman, 36, will preside as the mistress of ceremonies and lend her famously brash humor to the broadcast as the Golden Popcorn trophies are doled out on June 3 in L.A.
