Beyonce nominated for MTV Movie Award
MTV has announced the nominees for the 2007 MTV Movie Awards, and leading the pack is the comic book adaptation 300, which got a total of five nominations, followed by the Johnny Depp driven action adventure, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. But when it gets down to it – it may be the diva battle that draws the most interest.
Dreamgirls divas Jennifer Hudson and Beyonce Knowles will battle it out in the Best Performance category at this year’s MTV Movie Awards, along with Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest costars Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley. Host Sarah Silverman, 36, will preside as the mistress of ceremonies and lend her famously brash humor to the broadcast as the Golden Popcorn trophies are doled out on June 3 in L.A.
