Beyonce: best-paid celebrity under 30
Surpassing the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Sharapova and Roger Federer, singer & actress Beyonce Knowles has emerged as the world’s best paid celebrity under the age of 30 years. Compiled by the US magazine Forbes, the world’s ‘Best-Paid Celebs Under 30′ list is based on the estimated earnings from June 2008 to June 2009.
With an estimated yearly earning of $87 million, the 27-year old Beyonce has topped the league of 12 highest-earning celebrities under 30 years of age.
Other prominent names in the list include pop diva Spears, tennis stars – Sharapova and Federer, Brazilian football sensation Ronaldinho and Formula One racer Kimi Raikkonen. The publication noted that Knowles is at the top position mainly on account of a diversified portfolio of music, film, fashion and lucrative endorsement deals.
