Beyonce being sued

May 29, 2010 | Comments 4

LOS ANGELES — A man living across from a video shoot for Beyonce in the Hollywood Hills is suing the singer for nuisance and trespassing, claiming his privacy in the quiet neighborhood was invaded by unnecessary noise and crowds.

Court documents show Philip Markowitz filed the lawsuit seeking $25,000 on Friday in the Los Angeles Superior Court against Knowles, a liability company and Dina Ciccotello, production firm Kleiner for the video shoot for “Why Don’t You Love Me.”

Markowitz claims his expectations of privacy were “shattered” on March 26 when the crew came in the morning and didn’t leave until 11 p.m., and that his driveway was repeatedly blocked. He also says that he “missed several business calls while arguing calmly in his driveway”.

He was told he couldn’t be paid this time because it was a “low budget film shoot”. But the man wants some money anyway, so he’s suing Beyonce for unspecified damages. This sounds a lot like what anyone would say in an effort to take some money from someone as rich as Beyonce.

  2. Yes, the government needs to spend money but it seems like they have no regard for what they spend it on and how much they spend and I don’t want to end up working just to keep a nickel for every dollar I make.

  3. Skip Hop Studio Diaper Tote Bag is awesome. So quite a few wallets – and not these small, worthless pockets, either. All of the pockets tend to be a excellent size and genuinely help keep everything organized. The handles are a wonderful length and fit nicely over the actual shoulder; the handle straps additionally stay place on my shoulder, which is vital as soon as you’re holding a child. The handbag seems great, too. Not as well fancy, but not too casual. (I’ve it in black) The material is soft (can’t believe of a far better word) so it is simple to squeeze in to tight spaces – but yet it is sturdy. I have a Fleurville Lexi tote and I love it, as well, but this tote is actually type of rigid. I consider that Skip*Hop will grow to be my everyday bag. It is a little bit large – so if you are not in to significant bags this may possibly be better as an over-night diaper handbag.
