Beyoncé leads young moguls list
Beyoncé Knowles is at the top of Forbes.com’s list of top-earning young entertainers.
The list considers multi-stream revenues and pre-tax earnings for celebrities under the age of 35. The R&B diva has been estimated by the magazine to have earned $87 million in the past year through music sales and a diversified portfolio of ventures.
According to the article, “Endorsement deals with companies ranging from Nintendo to L’Oreal and her growing House of Deréon fashion line bring in millions of dollars per year.”
Additionally, Forbes says that, “Though the largest sum comes from her main gig, music, she has also ventured into film, TV specials, fashion, a fragrance and a growing list of lucrative endorsement deals. And she’s been vocal about her desire to conquer the only stage she has not yet graced: Broadway.”
Other entertainers in the top five list (and their incomes) include Britney Spears ($64 million), Lady Gaga ($62 million), Miley Cyrus ($48 million), and Taylor Swift ($45 million).
