Beyonce in talks over “A Star Is Born” remake

Singer Beyonce is reportedly in talks to star in a remake of A Star Is Born.
The 29-year-old star is said to be negotiating the lead role in the fourth remake of the movie, which would be directed and produced by Clint Eastwood.
According to Deadline Hollywood, no lead has yet been cast for the role but possibilities include Will Smith, P Diddy and even Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z.
The script for the film has been written by Will Fetters and Billy Gerber; Basil Iwanyk and Jon Peters will produce.
The film was last remade in 1976, with Kris Kristofferson playing the alcoholic lead and Barbra Streisand playing the young rising singer who falls in love with him.
