Jay Sean wants advice from Jay-Z and Beyonce
Jay Sean has named which stars he’d love to have as his mentor.
“For me, it’s about vocalists – someone [to] teach me and give me advice,” the 2012 (It Ain’t the End) hitmaker explains.
“Having people who are just so great at what they do like Mariah Carey and Beyonce, who are beautiful vocalists and Jay-Z who is an amazing rapper, is just amazing.
“I’ve met all of them now,” Jay tells the PA. “That’s the cool thing about what I do. These are people I used to be a fan of, and some of them are now peers. I learn from them and I ask them questions.”
Sean himself will soon be giving advice to youngsters as part of Disney XD’s Aim High. “I can help give these youngsters tips to help them along their way, to help them achieve their goals,” the British star explains.
“I never had anything like this when I was growing up or had someone in the industry give me first-hand experience and advice. It’s a cool scheme.”

This sounds like a very good scheme and should be widened to include other stars. It is nice when you see these very wealthy people spend some time helping others new to their industry or thinking of it – makes them a little more human
