Norwegian film director Harald Zwart is all set to direct the sequel to the 2006 box office hit ‘The Pink Panther’. Actor Steve Martin will reportedly reprise his role in Peter Sellers’ shoes as the bumbling Inspector Clouseau in the upcoming flick. The script for ‘Pink Panther 2′ has been written by Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber, Hollywood Reporter reports. The film, which will continue following the adventures of the French detective, will be produced by Robert Simonds. Shawn Levy, the director of Steve Martin’s first Pink Panther adventure will be the executive producer. Singer Beyonce Knowles has turned down an offer to reprise her role as pop singer Xania. The movie is expected to start shooting in late August.
